Amber Murphy

Lead Instructor Acrobatics, Lyrical, Jazz

Lead Instructor Amber Murphy has over 23+ years of dance training. She spent 12 years as a competitive dancer and received numerous awards and scholarships.

Amber attended SSA in Covington for High School, where she was on St. Paul’s Golden Blue’s Dance Team for two years. She graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor’s in Marketing and a minor in Dance.

Amber started teaching for LA Dance Academy in its first year. She teaches Acro Dance, Contemporary, Jazz, Turns & Leaps, Lyrical, and Beginner Combo Classes. She also assists with the LA Dance Competition Team. Amber is certified in the Acrobatique education program. Amber enjoys sharing her passion for dance with our students and takes great pride in watching our students achieve the goals they set for themselves.
