Lyrical dance is a graceful and emotionally expressive form of dance that combines elements of ballet, jazz, and contemporary styles. It focuses on interpreting the lyrics and mood of a song through fluid movements and storytelling.
In lyrical dance, your child will learn to convey a narrative or express emotions using their body, facial expressions, and the music’s lyrics. Dancers use flowing, sweeping movements, leaps, turns, and extensions to portray the essence of the music and convey a sense of lyricism and poetry.
Intro To Lyrical

This class is designed for beginner-level dancers who are new to lyrical or have limited experience in dance.
Your child will learn graceful movements that flow with the music, exploring the basic techniques of ballet and jazz infused with expressive storytelling. Your child will learn to connect with the music and express their emotions through gentle and fluid movements, encouraging them to communicate and interpret stories with their bodies.
Lyrical Beginner

In our beginner-intermediate lyrical dance class, your child will be introduced to the foundations of lyrical dance and ignite their passion for this expressive art form.
Your child will learn to connect with the music and understand how to express the lyrics and mood through their body and facial expressions. Your child will explore the art of storytelling and learn how to use movement to describe the music.

Lyrical Intermediate class will focus on developing your child’s skills in expressive and emotional dancing. Your child will learn a variety of lyrical dance techniques, including fluid movements, turns, leaps, and lifts. They will also learn creative and dynamic choreography that emphasizes storytelling and emotional expression. The class will focus on developing students’ ability to interpret and convey different styles of music and lyrics through their movements.
Lyrical Advanced

In advanced lyrical your child will continue to develop their technique and artistry through a fusion of ballet and contemporary dance styles. The class will focus on emotive storytelling through movement, with an emphasis on fluidity, expression, and musicality.
Your child will challenge their technical abilities while incorporating intricate footwork, leaps, turns, and floorwork. They will also work on developing their performance skills, exploring how to convey meaning and emotion through their dancing.
