Lyrical dance is a graceful and emotionally expressive form of dance that combines elements of ballet, jazz, and contemporary styles. It focuses on interpreting the lyrics and mood of a song through fluid movements and storytelling.
In lyrical dance, your child will learn to convey a narrative or express emotions using their body, facial expressions, and the music’s lyrics. Dancers use flowing, sweeping movements, leaps, turns, and extensions to portray the essence of the music and convey a sense of lyricism and poetry.

This class is designed for beginner-level dancers who are new to lyrical or have limited experience in dance.
Your child will learn graceful movements that flow with the music, exploring the basic techniques of ballet and jazz infused with expressive storytelling. Your child will learn to connect with the music and express their emotions through gentle and fluid movements, encouraging them to communicate and interpret stories with their bodies.
Lyrical I (5-8 year old)

Lyrical I is an introductory class designed for dancers who are just beginning their lyrical training. This class focuses on the fundamentals—graceful movement, musicality, and emotional expression—while also reinforcing core ballet and jazz technique. Dancers will learn how to connect movement with music in a gentle, age-appropriate way that encourages creativity and confidence. Lyrical I is a great fit for dancers who are new to lyrical or still building their technical foundation.
Lyrical II

Lyrical II is an intermediate-level class for dancers with a strong foundation in ballet and jazz who are ready to take their lyrical training to the next level. In this class, dancers will work on developing control and expression through turns, floorwork, and emotional performance. Choreography becomes more intricate, focusing on musical interpretation and storytelling through movement.
Lyrical II is perfect for dancers who are confident in their technique and eager to grow both artistically and technically in a supportive, creative environment.
Lyrical III
intermediate/advanced level

Lyrical III is an advanced-level class designed for experienced dancers with 7 or more years of training and a strong understanding of lyrical technique and performance. This class challenges dancers with complex combinations, advanced leaps and turns, floorwork, and partner work, all while deepening their emotional connection to movement. Dancers will be expected to execute choreography with precision, strength, and artistry, pushing their performance and technical abilities to a professional level.
Lyrical III/IV is ideal for dedicated dancers who are ready to grow as expressive, dynamic performers in a fast-paced and inspiring environment.
