If you’ve ever wanted to learn Tap Dancing, LA Dance Academy is the #1 Dance Studio on the Northshore for learning this fun dance style. Tap Dance is a form of dance that uses special shoes with metal plates on the sole to create rhythmic sounds and patterns. Your child’s feet become a percussion instrument striking the floor with different parts of the foot to create various sounds and rhythms. Tap class is a great way for your child to develop rhythm, coordination, and musicality.
Tap I
beginner level dancers
Times: 6:00-6:45 pm (45-min)

In this class, we will introduce your child to the exciting world of tap dancing and teach them the basics of tap technique. Throughout the class, your child will advance to skills such as buffalo, paradiddle, and maxi fords. We will encourage your child to express themselves and have fun while learning this exciting dance form.
Tap II
intermediate dancers
Times: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Days of the Week: Wednesdays
Tuition: $80/Month
Rolling Enrollment: (Register Now)
In Tap II/II, students will continue to build on the foundation of the tap technique they learned in beginner classes. Students will learn more complex rhythms and patterns and faster footwork and syncopation.
