Contemporary I
beginner/intermediate level
Contemporary I is for the dancer that has a strong foundation in ballet and lyrical dance. Contemporary I will encourage your child’s creative expression and individuality through movement, floorwork, and even partnering work. Your child will focus on conveying emotions, telling stories, and exploring abstract ideas.

In contemporary class, your child will experience both lyrical and ballet techniques combined into one! If your child is looking for a challenging way to take their technique to the next level, this class is right for them. *ballet technique is require incongruently with this class
When is the Contemporary I Class?
When enrolling your child in the Contemporary I Class your child will dance with us on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm. This class is held once per week.

Required Dancewear for Contemporary I
All Students in Contemporary I are required to wear the required dancewear at each class.
Each student must wear either a leotard, tank top, or crop top with shorts or pants.
Our students are also required to wear Canvas Pirouette Shoes
