Learn about LA Dance Academy’s recreational, beginner Ballet Classes for kids

Our Recreational Ballet Dance Class
Children’s Classes

In this class, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of ballet in a fun and welcoming environment. This class is designed for dancers with no ballet experience but who love to twirl around like a princess.

This class will begin with fun and engaging ballet activities to help your child learn the fundamentals of ballet technique. Your child will use props such as ribbons or scarves to add some excitement to the learning experience. Your child will also play games that will encourage them to use their imagination while practicing their ballet skills. For example, we could play “tiptoe, gallop, & march”, “follow the leader” or “freeze dance” to keep the class engaged and active.

Our goal is to make sure your child enjoys learning ballet, so we’ll incorporate fun elements into the class. We’ll also provide individual attention and feedback, so your child can feel confident in your abilities.

We believe that ballet is not only a beautiful art form but also a great way to help your child build discipline, focus, and physical strength. In our fun ballet class with activities, we will hope to instill a love of dance while helping your child develop these essential skills.
